Friday past at the Ivanhoe turned out a great night. A great audience was entertained by myself and another folk legend from Northern Ireland. Joining me on stage for the very first time was Alex Quinn. Alex wrote the famous song "Belfast" and played in the folk group Barnbrack. It was real tear jerking moment when I sang
"My Lagan Sofly Flowing"
and then Alex sang
"Belfast"
It's been a few years since Alex has performed on stage but maybe after Friday's show he will make a welcome return.
